Discover Your Organizing Fingerprint

Some people leave the cereal on the counter because if they put it in the cabinet, they'll forget it's there. Some people have to have clean surfaces to be able to think. Some people can work for hours without noticing the stack of papers growing beside them.

None of those habits happen by accident. They leave clues about the way your attention, energy, priorities, and environment work together. That's your Organizing Fingerprint.

This quick quiz won't uncover every detail, but it will begin to explore the patterns you naturally reach for when life gets busy, overwhelming, or happily full. There are no right answers, and no judgment. Choose the responses that feel most familiar most of the time, not the ones you wish were true.

We'll email you a first sketch of your Organizing Fingerprint, so we'll need your email address before you begin.

When life gets especially busy, which of these are you most likely to notice and think, "I really need to get back to that?"
The maintenance of everyday life (organization, paperwork, errands, tidiness)
My own rest, health, or recovery
Relationships and time with people I care about
Things I do purely for enjoyment, curiosity, or exploration
Another important goal or project

Choose ONE.

It's Sunday evening. Before the week begins, you have several thoughts competing for attention. Which TWO are most likely to win?

Choose up to TWO.

It's Saturday afternoon after a particularly busy week. You unexpectedly have three free hours. By the end of those three hours, what would make you think, "That was exactly what I needed?"
The house is tidier and it feels more settled.
I truly rested without feeling rushed.
I spent time with people who matter to me.
I got lost in something interesting just because I wanted to.
I finally made headway on something important.

You sit down to work on something that requires your full attention. Before you really get started, which of these feels most familiar?
I straighten up my space because I'll think better once it feels settled.
I put on music, grab a drink, light a candle, or do something else to get in the right frame of mind.
I jump right in and tune everything else out.
I end up taking care of a few other things before I can fully focus.
I move somewhere else where I can start fresh (another room, a different seat, a coffee shop, etc.).

Choose ONE.

It's Tuesday afternoon, and suddenly everything feels like it needs your attention at once. What's most likely to happen next?
I start making lists or schedules so I can see a path forward.
I pick one thing and start, even if I don't know the whole plan yet.
I start figuring out what can wait, what can be delegated, and what really needs my attention right now.
I step away for a while and come back with fresh eyes.
My brain just...stops. I keep thinking about everything that needs to be done and looking for the right place to begin.

Choose ONE.

Which statement makes you nod and smile because it's true?

Choose up to TWO.

Was there anything you kept wanting to explain while taking this quiz? Maybe one answer depended on the situation. Maybe you wanted to say "it depends." Maybe none of the choices quite captured your experience. Write whatever comes to mind. (One or two sentences is plenty.)
